I'll donate my 6800LE to my brother if I win (poor sod only has a Geforce 2). No kidding..

How sad I just found out about this. Well better late than never. My poor cat just died of starvation and we had peanut butter sandwiches for Christmas dinner (couldn't afford the jelly), so I could really use that video card! Now if you will excuse me, I have to go make a new hole in my belt.

hello: since online gaming has become of age and i seem to be getting older and slowly a bit smarter as to which video cards are top rated ,i figured id toss in some down to earth comments ! As a noobie i started out with a small vid card by the brand name ati pro with a small amount of onboard memory ! Boy was i disappointed so i tossed it in the box i keep under my desk! I did some research and purchased a geoforce 2 vid card it wasnt top of the line at the time but it was all i could afford. I used that old geo force card for 3 or 4 years with out any problems, "Of course" after 3 or 4 years i started looking at the new advanced vid cards and decided to go with a mx 4000 it was not top of the line but it was all i could afford ! mx 4000 rock solid vid card for the price, of course there are a lot of folks out here in pc land that would like to own a top of the line video card but just cant afford one, so we participate in contest,s and surveys hopeing maybe one day we might get lucky and accidentaly win something! In short im hopeing i might also get my hands on the top of the hill video card which is up for grabs in this contest also , but if the luck of the draw isnt in my favor its ok also ! I will have as of yesterday purchased a xfx 6600gt-oc 128mb nividia brand vid card and will be useing it ! hopefully later on ill have enough cash to purchase a top of the hill rated vid card in the nivdia video card brand ! god bless and please keep me in mind for a contest winner!

im actually in the process of building a new computer. ive gotten everything except my second hard drive and the 7800gt. this is the card i was gonna buy anyway but if i can get it for free ill take it :-)

:wave: Comments about the 64 bit os system and if you realy need to update to 64 bit os system for gameing! After reading several articles about the 64 bit os systems, i would think its a little early to switch over to the 64 bit os system ! Reason for this conclusion , would be most video games out run on 32 bit not 64 bit! so i dont see the imediate need for useing a 64 bit os system !

It's likely we will open a forums based contest later on during 2006, however for the time being we really wanted to push news comments, which have been lacking, and I believe can add a little extra information to read along with our daily coverage...

Not only that but it will expand the community (so the forums will also benefit), and will encourage the thousand of news readers to participate more often and join the community eventually.
