I want to thank everyone associated with TechSpot. I was able to use the info that Tedster announced to remove the crap that Movie Land piped onto my computer without permission. I have been looking for an answer to this problem since before Christmas. Someone might want to contact the Tech Guys site. They don't have a clue about how to deal with this trash....
Kudos to you all of you...

Thanks, mc

glad to have helped. Don't know about tech guys site, but this site is an open public forum. We all do what we can.

I also had a problem--successfully removed it. Another problem (possibly related)? When I go to certain sites in My Favorites list they open briefly and then knock my browser offline & I return to my home page. Tried entering the addresses directly with same result Virus & spyware scanned, still no help- Anybody have any ideas??
