I can only hit them if they start from near me. If they are thrown across my field of view I'm terrible, need more practice.

What will the gun lobby say now ?

How can such massacres be prevented ?

Guns or no guns, a killer is a killer, and nitrates are easily available.

I agree with you ravisunny2 if we disallow people to use guns they will just use another method of killing people. Such as knives and swords, etc. If the govt truly wants to do something we will have to become communist where the people have no say in what happens.

Cheers

Just thought I'd point out this didn't actually occur in germany, but in a university in virginia, it was a German class during which many of the killings occurred.

It seemed more logical to continue with the existing thread.

hi everyone.
I started this thread weeks ago, when there was a schooting at a german school.(not a german class)
and I was hoping not to hear any news like this so soon.
feel very sorry for the killed and the families,it`s such a shame to see these young lifes taken.
and I still don`t have a clue -why?
and how to prevent it in the future?

Well yeah....you are right. But what is the ratio of criminals to police? There are far more criminals running around with guns than there are police! My point is, I have guns in my house. And IF it ever comes down to someone breaking in my house and its me or them......the coroner better bring a body bag when he comes! Dont get me wrong, I am not a gun carrying redneck from the south. But I wont hesitate to protect myself or my daughter either!

I do agree with you and believe that we who purchase guns legally deserve to do so. I think the focus needs to be placed on the illegal purchase of hand guns. I live in New Jersey and there are a few major cities in the area where the focus should be placed on illegal sales of fire arms and not the restrictions that are on the legal sales.
Blamming computer games, music, and T.V. is a cop out that has been going on for a long time in my opinion. It seems so hard for people to think someone may just be psychotic and blame that individual for it. Instead we try to blame everyone else for what has happened and how the person acted out.
Guns don't kill! People do!
