Direct X9.0c sims 2 road block

Hi gang, good to be here,but not sure for how long..if i dont get the kids thier sims 2 going and asap. like all the others before..fail to find graphic adaptor for direct X 9.0c....running an intel (probally lowest model made).
Loaded all necessary DirX drives but still at square one,(the two hour ago beginning). Natives getting restless. Egar to try any suggestions.
