Does anyone know if there is likely to be a Linux CLI Client for the cancer research? Reason being - I've got a couple of machines sitting at home doing nothing, and I'd like to give something of some use back...

. I don't really like this clients interface very much, I much prefer SETI. That is why I have set up a little schedule, on weekends I will be running UD Cancer Research and the rest of the week will be purely SETI .

hmmmm don't think so papa, there are already way too much old people on earth and even simply too much people . if a cure to old age would mean people would stay young, then maybe, but if it would stop them from dying but not from becoming old, then it's kinda useless to me at least ...
We should get a boost soon as I prepare the TS Extra section (you know, that non-link item in the menu), with UD Team information, IRC and other promotions like that one of free mag subscriptions.

OK, I've got two computers running it 24/7. One is a Cely 333 which is very slow, about 60 hours per set. The other is my main computer @ about 8 hours a set. I'm sure my wife will be complaining the next time she sees the electricty bill, but the slow system will still stay running 24/7 but I may only be able to run it on this system when I'm on it.

I wonder how work would feel if I put UD on my work PC? I'll have to give that some serious thought.

If I remember correctly, when you have it running go to the task manager - look at the processes tab and right click on the UD process - you can then reduce the priority of it on your PC....
But as far as I know when you install it, it is set to the lowest priority by default.
