Hey everyone,

my friend just gave me an unkown webcam that he couldn't find drivers for. There is no casing on it, just the chip. It is an octagon shape, and there is a K37-62254-M2A V1.1 number on it. I've been looking for a while now and can't find anything, anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Let`s just get this clear: No casing,no name no drivers - Time for new webcam methinks.Mine cost $18.:)

Either look for any text or numbers on it,then google them.

or contact Time`s promo department. They must know who made it,or

how your meant to use it (one hopes).

This thread is 1 and a half years old.

It's about the same webcam, but in relation to drivers
I suppose it's too long for an answer to "someone124", but cinis do you have the drivers for this webcam? or better yet a link.
As this thread has had 1,871 hits

True, I saw that too.

So I suppose after all my suggestions, maybe in the end, threads are better left open. Not just for reference, but also to add to.

It's a grey area!

Got it!

On the back side of the octagon shaped board with the camera and a single green LED on the front you will find a single chip labled

Google SB9C102, go to the SONiX site , support, downloads,.You will find what you need there

I couldn't find it from your steps

I found this: http://sonix.sourceforge.net/ (but that's linux)
And this: http://www.sonix.com.tw/sonix/asearch.do (but all the webcam drivers say "phased out")

You might need to be a bit clearer, like here it is w w w- . - s o n i x . ..... etc (ie you can break up the link so then you can post it

This is usually when you don't reply, which then proves to me that your post is likely just rubbish :suspiciou
Ideally reply Jim ;)

No. Really I got the driver.

It is here..
