Happy Birthday to My Trusty Emachines T-5026

Well, Valentines day 2008 has come and gone, which marked my T-5026's 3rd Birthday! Runs like a top! So, with only 2 PSU's and a DVD drive having been replaced I say, "Emachines forever"! Won't y'all join me in a a couple choruses of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" and maybe "Happy Birthday" for good measure. Emachines, hip, hip hooray!

ROTF & LOL Love, captaincranky!

Today marks my (used to be) crap Pentium 4 pc arrival 5 years ago. The ups guy came this day.

Starting specs: 1.9GHz Pentium 4 Wilamette, JetwayP4X400DBP, 512MB DDR-266, Toshiba 16X DVD-ROM, 60GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus, ATi Radeon 8500 64MB

Now: 2.8GHz Pentium 4 Northwood, JetwayP4X400DBP, 1024MB DDR-333 Dual Channel, HITACHI Deskstar T7K500GB, BTC 8x DVD+RW (Which is crap, I have to have a seperate 52x CD-ROM for CD's.), BFG GeForce 6800GT 256MB.

Specs = New Computer Much better than the other sadly...

I was actually thinking more along the lines of giving him a few porn site bookmarks in Firefox now that he's all grown up.

There is always the possibility that he may have picked up my personality disorders, and might not be able to play well with others, especially that darned Dell family!

Oh BTW Obi-Wan; I've always accepted that a computer is an evolving, growing entity. I always sort of get a kick out of people that want to build the best computer they will ever own on the first try. Well, I suppose it's almost possible, but where's the fun in that?

It is good to know that an eMachine will run like a top. They don't do very well otherwise. But you are lucky to have only used two power supplies. Must be your lucky machine.

Are You Kidding....?

Me 'n E' here are kindred spirits! We've been together so long we're starting to look alike. Although I have so tried to shelter him from picking up my bad attitude and habits.

Raybay...., Thanks for stopping by and celebrating with us!
