Books - Computer Repair, Upgrades & Troubleshooting

Folks.

What I would like to see if I haven't missed it somewhere within the Forum is a separate discussion on purchasing excellent and informative books and magazines for Computer Repair and Upgading. As I'm new to computer rebuilding it would help a great deal to have reading material as a training aid. Thanks in advance.

A good one with which to begin is the huge, and detailed, Scott Mueller 's Upgrading and Repairing PCs (18th Edition) (Upgrading and Repairing). Not all of his books are as good, but his similarly titled books on Networks and on Windows tell you more than most techs will ever want to know.

Thanks so much for the information. I will faithfully search the Internet for a good deal on his book(s). Have a great day.
