You may need to source help elsewhere on this. (ie I can't think of any free alternative) I only say this after much investigation, and reading all posts here

The service tag is missing, and paperclipping will not work.

How about reflashing the BIOS?
Does anyone know how to flash a BIOS without getting past the BIOS password.
OR does anyone know how to force the CD drive to boot? etc?

I could unsolder the BIOS, and reprogram it.
Was looking to get an IC programmer anyway.
But a confirmation that this is where the password is held would save me time if it is not here.
