Hmm just like me
Actually I even asked if I could buy the generator so I could help others for free I got all these "sure you would" comments back. But if you happen to search TechSpot, that's exactly what I do everyday, and I'm a Mod. So pretty sure I'd stick to my word (obviously I wouldn't purchase it for some over stated exuberant amount; ideally they should just provide it, it would be much easier!) Which brings me to "they" Yes they are all known, even the drones that have no posts who are on the checkout to lure in unsuspecting others (I keep this ever growing list) but it all comes down to about 3 of them , but due to my membership here (only) I can't name names. I'd prefer them just coming out and communicating like adults do! But if that doesn't happen I'll just keep going until their inevitable extinction. The old days have gone, even this thread is having its day here already. It would be nice to go out with some respect, at the end of the day. |

Threads for Rustam the Bios specialist..
Aloha Rustam...
I have a problem with my laptop. I have been on the net searching my wits out for the answer. I know you are a busy man but I would truly appreciate your assistance with this prob. I just bought a Dell Latitude D610 with Sevice Tag # FNVY171 and express tag # 34096113037. from the Salvation Army post. I have tried all to get the system up and running, I cannot seem to be able to bypass the admin password. Can I get your assistance. Your assistance will be welcomed and appreciated and any souvenir from Hawaii will be reciprocated. Thank You..Mahola my friend. |

I finally broke down and ecided to bring my laptop into a local shop to try to solve my 595b bios pass problem... unfortunatly even they didn't have the notorious 595B genorator. after 6 hours of working on trying to fix it they had to give it back, fortunatly they weren't able to charge me because they did not fix the problem but i'm still in dire need of the password seings how atm i'm only allowed on this computer ( my mothers ) for maybe 1 hour a day 2 or 3 days a week.... and for an intence gamer this is like hell so i'm still looking for the fastest methods available and PLEASE no more posts of web sites to go to to pay i won't go near those....
i will post again in the morning after i get my comp back if i can get on with my 595b code i just realixed i never put it up here Mod Edit: Please do let us know how you (or they!) fixed it Last edited by kimsland; 11-17-2008 at 01:34 AM.. Hey, I'm a first-timer here and I was hoping if any of you fine gents can help me out here. I was recently given a Dell Latitude D610 by my uncle. My uncle primarily gave me the laptop because he had an HP desktop and didn't have the need for it. The problem is the laptop came with a password on the HDD and I would like to reinstall Win XP, so I was hoping for someone to help me out greatly.
This is how it was shown on the gray screen. Quote:

HP Omnibook 2100,4150,7150: eeprom AT24c164 (Atmel 24c164)
You can contact HP here: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/wwcontact_us.html As it is an older computer they may help Some users reported connecting the harddrive using an IDE adaptor to a PC and formatting it from there, then returning the harddrive to the laptop. This may work Edit: Note "removing the cmos battery?" will not work |

Before deciding to accept any message on how you can pay to receive your passwords: 1. Read this entire thread (you are currently on) On many laptops, the passwords can be freely removed 2. Dell will supply you a password for under $40 only 3. Shop around. There are many pay for services out there, quite a few at eBay, and basically a Google search will find hundreds! You have been informed Also read my last post h e r e on free alternatives ![]() . Note I will continue to post this message on each page change here Last edited by kimsland; 11-18-2008 at 07:11 AM.. |
