I fear you need to keep hoping !

I spend about 30 or 40 hours in searching for a 595B password generator or another way to solve that problem. I did read everything I could find in dutch, german, english and even russian language discussion forums in internet. Without a result that works (I didnīt try the opening and short-out EEPROM method - thatīs way to violent to me).

power-on password

Hi everybody!

Can anybody help me with this issue (power-on password)? I played with the RTC battery, but nothing helped. In some topics I read about some kind of Hash Code that can be seen by pressing F12, but no such thing happens with my laptop (HP 530).

Any other ideas?

Thank you in advance!

Hi zaharmd

Just for ur knowledge Hp uses Phonix bios & drivelock for security so if anybody forgets his/her password then with the help of hash code HP can generate a master Password to unlock the machine ....& every machine have a unique hash code .
The hash code can be found in bios setup
hope this information would be beneficial for u

Thanks for reply! The problem is that I can see nothing except small blue square on the black screen... it appears right after I press power button... it prompts me for power-on password... if I press F12 to see BIOS hash, nothing happens...

I can't get the dst-cd.iso to boot after restart

Greeting Yawl;
I can't get the dst-cd.iso to boot after restart? I set the boot order to CD/DVD first with no joy. Do I just burn the DSTCD.iso (RAR) file on a bootable CD?? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

No you need to extract it first
Here's a free UnZip Program to Download: http://www.jzip.com/

Then burn the ISO image to CD (Not copy it)
Many just double click on the ISO file, and the appropriate burning software application will start

Or download image "Burning" software

Free ImgBurn ISO burning application Download: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
Or use your own Burning software (Usually File->Open ISO-> then burn)
