Dell Latitude D610
Hi, I am new here and not sure what I need to ask but my daughter received a computer a couple years ago after going to school and while trying to get it on the internet, I found out I would have to change the settings on the network card. Well, to make a long story short, I would have to get into the setup and couldn't. My son found out that the setup was locked and therefore I couldn't get in to change it. She hasn't "needed" the internet since and has been using it just for word processing and other documentation.
How would I go about getting this change? What information do I/you need? Thank you. Last edited by wmkman; 12-13-2008 at 11:44 AM.. Reason: More information |

I have a dell 5150 laptop which died last week and I really need to get some of the data off it.
I have tried putting the drive in a usb drive caddy but windows on my new laptop just tells me to insert a disk in the drive. I have a vague memory of setting the hard disk drivelock password about 4 years ago and cant remember it for the life in me. I have put the drive in an old HP and sure enough it is asking me for a drivelock password. The Drivelock Master ID is 44872223. Any chance someone could tell me the password from that like hpgl did for rxed in November Hi I have the same problem as Rxed. I set the drivelock password years ago and cant remember. The drivelock master id is 44872223 hitachi drive on a dell laptop, can you come to the rescue again hpgl ? Last edited by kimsland; 12-14-2008 at 08:11 PM.. Reason: again ^^ ?.-- Also merged posts |

Are you still the sweet man who provides unlock password? I am attractive blonde in need of an unlock password. My jerk Ex got his hands on my laptop, and must have set a password. Another friend, while trying to repartition, discovered the password in BIOS. This is a dell inspiron 8200, service tag 7GSGQ11-595B I hope you like my story and can help this Cutie ;-) Thanks much - my appreciation to whoever can help. - Cutie 3.1415 math-girl |

If you want to pay someone, go try eBay or Google this
Or post on another tech forum that doesn't care as much TechSpot is not interested in paid services on the forums . ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- . . I would like to re-state to all New members, that there are FREE alternatives, than paying high costs. Before deciding to accept any message on how you can pay to receive your passwords: 1. Read this entire thread (you are currently on) On many laptops, the passwords can be freely removed 2. Dell will supply you a password for under $40 only 3. Shop around. There are many pay for services out there, quite a few at eBay, and basically a Google search will find hundreds! You have been informed Also read my last post h e r e on free alternatives ![]() . TechSpot is ONLY free support |

630m
paperclip method will not work since the 25 series EEPROM's are not shortable Found that on a search, not sure if it's correct or not Some dismantle documentation here, anyway: http://supportapj.dell.com/support/e...n/sm/blue0.htm |
