Instant Messaging software to merge with online music?

New version of Instant Messaging software will let people share and interact with one another's digital playlists, it has been suggested. Yahoo currently has designs on merging Musicmatch with their online music services, and delivering some IM integrated software. Additionally, Microsoft has publicly acknowledged similar interests in tying its MSN Music online store into MSN Messenger. The idea will likely take off quickly if successful.
