Which raid drivers are you using? Did you DL them from the ASUS site?

I asked which ones because there are two sets:

The VIA K8T800Pro chipset incorporated two Serial ATA connectors with RAID 0(striping), RAID 1(mirroring), and JBOD(spanning) functions while the Promise 20378 controller provides another two Serial ATA and two UltraATA133 connectors for RAID 0(striping), RAID 1(mirroring), RAID 0+1, and multiple RAID functions. The motherboard is the ideal solution to enhance hard disk performance and security.

I'm having problems connecting to the ASUS site. If this your board then you want the Via drivers.

I tryed four drivers and none of them worked VIARAID220d, Promise_64bit_100139, 378raid_1001377, and one that downloads as floppy.

I assume this is the one that had Windows on previously. I was wondering if you had the space (most likely :-) ) but do you have a partition or a program to make one that you could install Windows on and then use Disk Management to partition the smaller drive for Windows.
A thought.
