I'm having the same problems.
Here's my minidump. I had more, but it hasnt happened in months, and the old ones don't seem to exist anymore: (Edit) Never mind, I was searching my files like an *****. I'll upload some of them now. Last edited by Omega2k3; 09-06-2005 at 06:57 AM.. |

Hi Omega,
You have one system crash within 2 months and I don't think you have immediate need to fix the problem. I have tones of minidumps to read. After I clear all the backkog, I will investigate your problems. BTW do you have a brief description of your problem? As I find you have a couple of system crashes at June. Well, it started freezing again today, and when it froze before ,there were no minidumps, but occasionally it crashed to a blank dark blue screen or just a blank screen, and those minidumps came from that. I had alt+tabbed out of a game, and gone back in when it froze. I tried the same game several more times, and it just seemed to freeze about a minute into the game. It crashed to the blue screen in another game, when the server was crashing.
The main problem I have is that I seemed to have fixed the problem that used to happen, and it started this IRQL crap, and page fault in non-paged area crashes when I started up. So, every time I resarted, I had to go through about 10-15 minutes of retrying to get to the windows loading screen. The odd thing is, though, when it started to freeze and crash again yesterday, the loading problem seemed to have disappeared. I've restarted about three times, no problem. By the way, the old problem was the video card power cables. I fell asleep, and my dad hooked the rest up, but didn't know that the video card needed to be plugged into two places. Well, now I have a big problem. The last time it crashed was this morning, and now my computer won't start up. It seems to not be detecting the monitor, either. Usually, I can just keep trying and eventually get past the startup problem, but this has been like that all day. Please, help.

Hi!
I have a similar problem. From what I know it would be related with the IdeChnDr.sys file, which is part of Intel Application Accelerator. So my computer freezes and I get this blue screen: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x000000D1 0x00000003 0x00000005 0x00000000 0xF7550D72 IdeChnDr.sys address: F7550D72 base at: F754C000 Date Stamp: 3d99eac3 Event Type: Information Event Source: Save Dump Event Category: None Event ID: 1001 Date: 9/7/2005 Time: 3:45:27 AM User: N/A Computer: CAPTAINHOOK Description: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. I'm very desperate here, and I've been waiting for an answer for two days... I can't even access my computer. That's not just a minor problem, and it had occurred more than once since the incident I first quoted on this thread. Please, I feel like I'm being ignored.

It is hardware issue and you had better post your problem at hardware forum.

I'm really sorry if this is being really cheeky. I'm a virtual novice only really beginning to find my way round the more technical side of this. I've had a problem for a long time with my pc. Recently I've been having the same problem (only after I turned off the auto restart). I would appreciate some help...I have attached my minidump files.
Cheers.... |

I've studied your minidumps and it is memory problem. Memory may be related to RAM, L2 cache memory of CPU or cache memory at m/b. For your case, most probably it is faulty M/B and RAM. They are 50 and 50. If you can attach more minidumps here. May be I can confirm which hardware component is faulty. |

Cpc 2004
Thanx cpc 2004,
I have searched in my files and folders and can't find anything of that name...any idea where it might be (i'm running windows xp professional). I'm suprised it might be virus - I have McAfee Personal Firewall running, AVG free edition, and Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE personal. And I check regularly. I have been plagued with problems..that teach me to have a mate build it for me. 2 years and its never run right...so any help would be gratefully accepted. Heres my spec: Microsoft Windows XP Professional System Manufacturer: NVIDIA System Model: AWRDACPI BIOS: Phoenix - Award BIOS v6. 00PG Processor: AMD Athlon (tm) XP2002+, MMX, 3Dnow, ~1.7GHz Memory: 512MB RAM DirectX version: DirectX 9.0c Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce Ti 4200 Sound: NVIDIA (R) nForce (TM) Audio Thanx fellas... |

Download HijackThis from:
http://www.gatesofdelirium.com/ee/tools/ Place it into a folder of it's own - something like: C:\HJT\hijackthis.exe or C:\Program Files\HJT\hijackthis.exe Do not run it directly from the "Zip" file, a "temp" folder, or the Desktop. HijackThis makes "backups" and it's good to have them in a centralized location. With all browser windows closed - run HijackThis and copy and paste the log file into the Analysis site here: http://www.hijackthis.de/en Click on the "Analyze" button; and when the analysis is done - Click on the "Save Analysis" button - A page will be generated with your saved analysis - Post a LINK to that page back here. For detail refer the following webpage http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic17297.html |

Would be very grateful for help!
Dear cpc2004,
having read your responses to others' posts re BSODs with the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL message, I thought I would try to encroach on your generosity and knowledge and ask if you might be able to help me with the same problem. The BSOD has been coming up many times each day (sometimes as often as every half an hour). I don't remember having installed any new software or hardware just before it started over a week ago and can't seem to resolve the problem. Here are my system specifications: Microsoft Windows XP Home edition System Manufacturer: Compal System Model: ELW80 System type: X86-based PC BIOS: Phoenix technologies ltd V1.07 Processor: Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (x86 Family 15 Model 3 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel ~3000MHz) Memory: 256 MB, 192MB RAM Graphics: Mobility Radeon 9000/9100 IGP Sound: Realtek AC97 Audio I have attached the five last minidumps that my computer has made (all I could find although this could be that I just don't know how to look properly) when it has restarted with the BSOD and I will cross my fingers that you might be able to identify my problem. I have also analysed the hijackthis log file which can be found at the following link: http://www.hijackthis.de/logfiles/0c...a7ed824e1.html Best regards and thankyou in advance, Jonathan. |

Jonathan,
This is software error and the culprit is i2220ntx.sys.
