Fatal Error: MSI destinations
I'm trying to install the software for my HP All-in-one printer, and after a while I get a 1304 Fatal error (cant write to file) and it tells me to go to their website and look up fatal error:MSI destinations. The closest thing I found there was something about changing my permissions in my registry to allow full user access. That didnt work, and it keeps telling me to make sure I have access to some folder in C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin
If anyone can help I'll greatly appreciate it. |

Uninstall that HP stuff completely. Then reboot and make sure you log in as administrator or with admin privileges.
Disconnect physically from the internet. Shut down your antivirus, firewall and any other programs you may have running. Only now should you install the drivers as per HP-instructions (I think drivers first, then connect the printer). HPs are finnicky, but once installed they are great (but cartridges are expensive, ah well...) |
