Hi. I have been having blue screen crashes for about 3 weeks now. Every time norton tries to run the computer crashes. It also crashes randomly after it has been on for a while. I followed the procedure for newbies to this site. My computer passed memtest86+ and I have updated all drivers.
Here are the specs of my computer.
OS: XP OEM version
Mother Board: IBM 2373CYU
HardDrive: Model HTS548080M9AT00 (80 gigs)
Ram:512
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon 9600

it sounds like overheating problem. (the computer crashes after having been on for a few minutes).
what error message are you getting on bsod?

Hey. my computer hasnt crashed yet and it has been on for 2 hrs. It always seems to crash when I come back come class. The Blue Screeen says "Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" Stop 0x0000000D1 physical memory dump complete. I hope makes some sense to you. thanks again

Gv3.sys is the culprit and here's the fix.
