Faulty ram

Hi,

One minidump is crashed with bugcheck code 8E. 5 minidumps are inaccessible by windbg and it is the sign of faulty ram. Run memtest to stress test the ram.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

In order to use Memtest to test your ram, go HERE and follow the instructions.

You can either run memtest from a floppy, or if you don`t have a floppy drive, download the pre-built iso version and burn it to cd as an image.

Regards Howard

300Watt PSU, puke: I had a 450W PSU (came with the case) that I smoked in less then a week with my GeF 6600 and AMD64 3500 CPU.

Read my post BSOD (link below) about PSU, what to look for in a good unit and why the amps on the 12V rail are so important.

Cheers.
