(reboot problem at startup)
Hi everyone. First of all, my computer has been formated recently.
I instaled all the driver and i didnt have any problem for like 2 days. I dont know if it could be it but I think my reboot problem came with the microsoft update ... im still on sp1 cause I dont have a real key for window xp. My reboot problem seem to happen just when I start my pc ( even if I close it without any trouble ) when I arrive to the screen you say WELCOME. So I figured it was a driver problem but I dont know wich one. Theres my minidump if you need it : http://www.techspot.com/vb/attachmen...tid=6423&stc=1 http://www.techspot.com/vb/attachmen...tid=6422&stc=1 Theres the error ive got when I boot : BCCode : c5 BCP1 : 00000000 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001 BCP4 : 8053DAC4 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1 After my pc have rebooted once, I can do anything after it without any problem. Ive tryed many thing, I hope you can help me. Im downloading XP with the sp2 in it presently so if nothing work thats gonna be my solution ... |

1 crash at vetefile.sys. AFAIK, this is part of EZ AV software. Upgrade to the latest version or uninstall it.
Other crashes by ntoskrnl.exe, and some dumps that wouldnt open. Test your ram using memtest, and let it pass at least 7 times. |

Voila ! theres the result: after 1h30 of memtest86 , everything is fine.
(I already runned memtest86 during 24hours like 2 weeks ago, im 100% that my ram isnt the probleme OCZ ram is hard to kill) Ive also done a prime95 torture test with those config for like 3 hours. http://img76.imageshack.us/my.php?im...rime9539ek.jpg screenshot of memtest68 http://img364.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img00240nf.jpg Before my last format everything was fine, just wanted to clear my hdd from some **** load of useless stuff.... My bios is updated all my hardware are also updated. Ill try to fix what you said before and if that dont work im gonna change my os for microsoft windows xp professional sp2 integrated ----------------------- Do you think it could be my window ???? or am I complety wrong about that ???
