Hi there,
Was trying to fix my CD-R drive, because it just wouldn't read any blank CD I put into it and in the process I managed to kill my DVD ROM drive. Just like a woman eh?  Anyways I found the problem with my CD-R drive, at some point I was a bit aggressive in pluging in the ribboned connection and seem to have bent 2 of the pins :knock: :knock: So now I need to find a driver for my HL Data Storage DVD ROM GDR 8161B, which I believe might also be listed as LG GDR 8161B, I would be extremely grateful if someone could point me in the right direction! Right click my computer and select manage.
Select device manager and right click on your optical drives. Choose uninstall. when done, reboot your computer and Windows will reinstall the drivers. Regards Howard
