unlocked xp-3200+

Hello, first time posting so hi
I'm getting ready to unlock my amd xp-3200 and have a ?
i'm using a asus a7n8x-e m/b in the bios it shows cpu multipliers up to 16.5
does this mean it's already unlocked (at the factory) or do i still have to work with the cpu ie fill in the gaps and connect the dots

thanx for any help

I'm not sure but I know that whatever you can get with a 3200+ (even unlocked) you can get faster with a XP-M 2500+ or higher (barton core).

the 3200+XP runs VERY hot. So be careful with overclocking.
Ensure you have excellent cooling.

Newer XP chips are NOT overcolckable as they are locked.
I know, I own one and also toasted a 2500 in the past with overclocking.
The 3200 is quite fast at stock speed. I really don't recommmend overclocking it.
