After reinstalling IE, my favourites are there but don`t work.
can somebody please help.....ive just got my pc back up and runnin after a few problems. Internet explorer had to be reinstalled, and everything is workin fine...apart from the favourites menu. All my favourites are still there, but when i click to open them...nothing happens. ive even tried deleting them and re-adding them, but it comes up catastrophic error!! ive tried the trouble shooting, and reinstalled internet explorer...again...and still no joy! please help!!

My advice would be to download Firefox and import your favorites into it and just not bother with IE.
|

thank you i will try that but id really like to keep them in IE as i use that more often than anything else....any other suggestions???

you could go into your C:\Documents and Settings\your name here\Favorites directory and open the links from there and rebookmark them, etc.

check your machine for spyware
use adaware and spybot ,search and destroy firefox is better for security and almost crash proof |
