Unreal Tournament 2003 issues

Hello,

I just re-installed this on my computer. Its been a while but it sounded fun. I am getting an error when trying to open it:
------------------------------------------------------
UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2003-02-13_18.53]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 2212 MHz with 1022MB RAM
Video: No Video

General protection fault!

History: MainLoop
-------------------------------------------

Im running a GeForce 7600GT with DX9.0c, XP pro. The readme file says i need a DX 6 compatible card and need to be running DX8.1. Is there a reverse compatibility issue here?? I cant figure it out.

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 2212 MHz with 1022MB RAM

Ive played 2004. They added to much realism to the game. I like the cartoon ridiculousness of 2003. Better physics engine in 2003 also.

I heard you could play UT2007 against people on PC and PS3, so say I have a PC version I can play against you if you have the PS3 version
