New build install BSOD

Hi,

Fairly new to building pc's and I have today built one with :

Asus Striker Exteme V2 NF680i SLI, S 775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 533/667/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX

Intel Core 2 Quad-Core Q6600 G0 SLACR, 95W, S775, 2.40 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 8MB Cache

(2x1GB) Corsair TwinX DDR2 XMS2 Dominator, PC2-8500 (1066), 240 Pin

It boots and I can goto bios but when I try to install Vist 32bit It gets through the National settings and Entering product Serial number then starts to extract window files then as it is nearly completed that part it Blue Screens saying "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. The system has encountered an uncorrectable Hardware Error.

Technical infrotmation:

*** STOP: 0x00000124 (0x00000000, 0x823a2360, 0xb2000040, 0x00000800)

Any ideas on what I have done wrong?

Thanks in advance

It seems many people are experiencing this STOP Error with Vista and Nvidia. Are you using onboard audio or video?

Check this link out and pay particular attention to reply #11.

Also, google 0x0124 and you'll find many attempts and some success by various people.
