AdblockPlus & FilterSetG

I note that Adblock plus recommend that Filterset G is not used - asserting that it will actually slow down browsing & that it is basically incompatible & unnecessary when Adblock Plus is installed.
Comments and advice please.

They are BOTH installed in my Firefox and is running properly.

I haven't noticed the slow down.
