AVG Free 2015 advertising banner

Is there a way to remove the advertising banner (on the bottom of the window, "Maximize your protection..") in AVG free 2015?



There used to be a way to do this in versions 2010, 2012 and 2014, but can't find a way to do this in 2015.

I tried Google and did not find anything that would help.

It is obvious you see that because you are using the free version. It is a sales pitch, one of which they don't want removed. If you want it removed, make a payment.

P.S. I'll never consider using AVG. Since you will only consider AVG, there is not much else to say.

It is term and conditions of AVG, if you remove it then it may stop working. AVG will check it at the time of update

Yeah, your right. Every time I update the program, it just brings the banner back up again. Even on the paid version too.

Oh well. It is not that big of a deal I guess.

Just learn to deal with it. It's the price you have to pay for freeloading on their software. Don't you think everything has a price? Do you think everything should be free?

If you really want to be annoyed by advertising in a free AV product, try "Avira". You'll be running back to AVG's comparatively inoffensive banner with your tail between your legs in a matter of days.
