J jasminder2 Feb 1, 2009 #1 I have AVG 8 and it keeps turning off, and I can't open the user interface to turn it on. I can't open AVG at all. I have used AVG for years, been very pleased with it, never had a problem like this. What might cause this?

R raybay Posts: 6,906 +10 Feb 1, 2009 #3 Remove AVG all together. Then use RegClean to remove all signs of it. Then install Avira Antivir, and you will be a happy camper once more.
