Battlefield 2 crashes.

I'm desperate for help, to the point i'm willing to paypal someone cash if they find a working solution.

I'm running ATI Radeon x1600
AMD 3200+ OC'd to 2200mhz
1 gig ram

All of my hardware is running up to date drivers.
I've called EA tech support, although my card isn't officially supported, they have hundreds of reports of it running fine.

Onto what i've tried.
Uninstall/reinstall
Manual uninstall (including regedit)
Patching
Reinstalling then patching.
Forcing my monitor to 60hz.
removing and reinstalling directx
Removing and reinstalling all video/sound drivers.
shouting,crying and attempted suicide.

There is no error message whatsoever, it just goes black for about 5 seconds then back to desktop, Running it in windowed mode does the same, still no error message.

Maybe something in your computer is overheating. I wouldn't know much though, I'm an 11 year old who just one day went crazy and decided he wanted to learn about computers and here I am researching computers as a fifth-grader ;)I don't want the money though.

heh, good thing you mentioned your age or i'd have to say something rude :)

Thanks for the suggestion but i assure you that angle is covered.

What motherboard do you have???? (What's the model?)

What psu (Power Suply Unit) do have???
How many watts max???
(Maybe you can support your hardware as not having enough power)

your cpu is 2.2ghz (single-core) this is trubling, but should run the game
Try running your settings at medium quality

I'm 14 I can take a nasty comment   :knock:

AMD's run 64 bit, and quite a bit faster than a pentium.

I can run CS source, at max setting with 120 fps :p

That out of the way, I'd be more than glad to put it on medium quality if i ever saw the main menu, as previously stated it crashes on the splash screen.

My power supply is 350w(My system runs cool on this, i could easily have a lesser power supply, so not the problem)

I have an a8v-e SE motherboard...
