Bios

I have a sony vaio. I got the newest bios from the intel website, now some programs won't run on my VAIO because it doesn't recognize the BIOS, is there anyway to roll back to the old BIOS, or the old chipset drivers?

You can just re-flash with a new(older ) file from Sony Website.
Take the time to read file versions and the issues they are designed to address,then choose the file that seems to makes the most sense for your machine and it's contents. Make very sure you follow all the recommended instructions etc. to do your flash .It is VERY EASY to ruin a good machine.
