Boot Disc Failure Insert System Disc:: However Restart Works?

hi all this is a weird problem, basically when i turn on my computer it comes up with
boot disc failure, insert system disc, push enter and still error message... however if i push the reset button on my computer box it boots into windows??? i've reset everything default in bios still the same problem..

any ideas?

Your hard drive does not have enough time to start up. Look for a HDD delay option in BIOS and set it to 5-10 seconds.
