Inactive Browser search hijack

Hello,

I need to help my Dad with an issue on his new Windows 7 Home Premium system. He clicked a link in an email and now when you search using any valid search engine and click the results the browser (IE 8) redirects you.

I am attaching a hijack this log file and hope someone can assist as I am only visiting for a day or so.
