BSOD upon boot

Okay so, My PC was working fine all day today, I did not install anything or delete anything, I just played killing floor for an hour and shut down my PC. Now each time it gets to the windows XP loading screen, It BSOD's All 3 safemode types cause BSOD as well, Is there a fix to this?

I'd start by checking the system memory

You can find instructions on how to do so here

Let it run for at least 7 passes, leave it running overnight if possible. If you get any errors then most likely the RAM will need to be replaced.

I just burned it and it was a waste of a blank CD because my PC wont let me boot from the CD drive =/!

Yep, That's the only thing I can use without getting BSOD. But the boot sequence says onboard CD drive is not present =/
