Call of Duty 2 Lag/Low FPS

For some reason every time I go onto Call Of Duty 2 I get really bad lagg and my FPS is around 30 in normal war zone situations... But when there is a massive amount of bullets and grenade flying everywhere i seem to get 15 Fps and lower. It also sometimes stutters... Please Help...
My computer:
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU
Q6600
2.40ghz
3gb RAM

a weak video card will severely bottleneck that system, so i urge you to tell us what video card you have so we can help you further

my video card is a nvidia Geforce 7050/nvidia nforce 610i

that might be a bit weak for that game you might want to purchase an additional card such as a 9400gt or if you got a large budget an 9800gtx, 4870 or a GTX275 should do you fine

well i live in england..... and tbh i dont use a online retailer for buying things apart from ebay... and tbh i dont want to spend any money if thats ok

you wont be able to buy from newegg so i suggest you find a retail outlet out there to try and find your video card.

The video card you currently have is outdated technology(like my own video card) and should be replaced. And you are playing Call of Duty 2 correct?


That game is also older so it may be possible if you check for driver updates on your video card manufacturer's website for new updates.

Have you upgraded your drivers?Don't forget to update DIRECTX
