Call of Duty: Ghosts sales top $1bn on first day

Call of Duty: Ghosts made more than $1 billion (£621m) from its first day of sale.
The tenth game in the series launched worldwide on Tuesday and retail stores bought more than £621 million worth of products, which may not reflect consumer purchases, according to Activision.

I don't even have TV (antenna, satellite, or cable) but I've seen the commercials for it. I don't even have a chance to watch TV very often, and I remember commercials for it. That says something about their marketing. Which explains the sales numbers.
