Candle flames hide millions of diamonds

Within a single candle flame, approximately 1.5 million itty-bitty diamonds are created every second. Unfortunately, they are destroyed almost immediately and they’re way too tiny to be of any real monetary value. If scientists can harness and replicate the reactions taking place on a microscopic scale, it may be a new inexpensive method for growing lab-created diamonds.

Amusing tech, but one which may turns out to be of some use in the future.

A guy on the TV created his own diamonds with a blowtorch just last week. He had to have it on for over 8 hours to get some small ones, but imagine if it was done on an industrial level.
