Can't delete PC Mighty Max!

Hello to everyone out there! I'm hoping someone might be able to help me remove PC Mighty Max from my husband's new gaming PC....I have Belarc on the system and can run that software (it does show up in there, too). If there is something else I need to download and run I can give it a shot. I'm not a pc expert but can navigate around a pc pretty well with specific instructions and guidance.

I'm hoping to hear from anyone out there who can help us rid this darn PC Mighty Max from his new pc...he clicked on something he shouldn't have and that's how we ended up with max in the system. Thanks! Carole

Try removal while in Safe Mode, which you access by pressing F-8 repeatedly after you press the <on> switch.

Hi, Raybay....I hope I don't sound too pc illiterate, but once I hit F8 it comes to a screen with a couple of options to click on....Hard DRive, Hitachi something, CD ROM and something else. Am I in the right place at the right time? If yes, which one do I click on? I tried the first two and it just brought me back to the Windows (vista os) sign on beginning opening screen and to the desktop. Tried to go into programs and delete the bugger but it wont let me. Thanks for your response and I'm hoping you can continue to help me out tonite! Carole

Raybay...I was able to get it started in Safe Mode and I do believe I was successful in deleting the darn PC Mighty Max! Ran a search to include all hidden files and folders and it did not come up in any results. Will now run all AV software, AdAware, SpyBot, PC Tools Spydoctor/AV, etc. etc. again.

Anything else I might do just to be certain "it" is truly gone forever?
