Conflict between McAfee Internet Security Suite and Outlook Express

I have recently installed McAfee Internet Security Suite onto my computer.

This seems to conflict with Outlook Express so that I can neither send or receive e-mail.

I am by no means computer literate, so I would be grateful for any help in overcoming this problem.
