Dell Inspiron Lcd screen blank display even if the laptop is on

Recently I have problem with the dell inspiron lcd screen showing blank display. Parellel lcd shows the desktop and runs well. Lcd screen test shows positive ok. I dont know what could be the problem

Sounds to me like the backlight is out. Try to catch the ambient light so you can see (very darkly) the actual images on screen.
