desktop icons and taskbar gone!

Doesn't work to reboot, or to put it in safe mode

I dunno what's wrong! There's also no explorer.exe and I have to use the run command to access programs.

Please help!

oh, and i can't right-click and choose "display icons" because nothing comes up T-T

Just guessing for now

Desktop icons should not just disappear.Have you tried adding any ?
You can do it here,but it's a right click option.
You might have a Mouse problem.
I don't list Explorer either.
Have you tried,
msconfig/Selective startup ?
Post this Startup list.
Have you tried a Restore ?
What do you see on your Desktop ? Anything at all ?

Actually, my friend just sent me explorer.exe over MSN messenger and when I ran that, everything went back to normal!

You might wanna contact howard_hopkinso about that winlogon.exe running so much cpu usage - not good imo.
