Disc Read Error PS2

i had my ps2 since jan 2001. it used to work fine. now it cannot read PS2 DVD-ROM games which sucks really hard. do you think my ps2 is toast?

Most probably yes. On the other hand, upi can always try to reset all the settings to factory default.
