do i need a firewall on all?

i use internet connection sharing from my main desk top to my laptop and other desk top,do i need firewall and everything on all computers???

or just on the gateway computer??

You need one on all. If you get a virus on your computer, then a firewall can block it from infecting others, etc.

You need a software firewall on all your systems. Even though the gateway has or should have a hardware firewall,I wouldn't rely on it completely.
