Do Spyware Blaster & AdAware run automatically?

I see a startup icon for Spyware Guard in the startup menu (bottom right of screen)
and for AVG, but not for Spyware Blaster and AdAware.

Do these also start automatically and run whenever the computer is running - I'm on cable.

If not, is there a way to accomplish that, or is it even possible?

There's two answers to that

If you are talking about resident protection, then you need to purchase those 2
If you are just wanting to start the program, you can shortcut them to your Start folder group (which is not a good idea)

Hmmm - I've had both of them on my computer for several years, don't remember
having to pay for them. Pretty sure not for AdAware SE Personal, don't remember for sure for Spyware Blaster. Both still seem to run fine, accept updates, and I'm able to scan with them.

By "resident protection" do you mean that they do run all the time "in the background"? That's what I'm wondering. If they don't, are they even made
so that's possible / practical?

Adaware is free but if you want the resident protection then you pay for it.
