Documents and settings password

I tried kapersky excuse the spelling antivirus when it attempted to scan documents and settings it required a password but i have never set any password what is going on?

Is that a legal, bought copy?
Or a trial-copy that has run out of it's trial-period?

Its a trial copy 20 minutes old.
