Drivers for sony handycam dcr-hc24 on windows 7

I have a sony handycam dcr-hc24 and am connecting it to my laptop with a usb lead and i don't have a firewire on it.
I know that the devise is working and tryed loading the drivers but not working on win 7 and no updates on sony for win 7
how can i make it work many thanks

If there are no updates available, you can always try running it under XP compatibility mode.
Otherwise, you'll need a card reader.
