Inactive Firefox redirecting links to junk websites

Earlier today I received about three Trojan notifications from AVG and it said they were all removed. But from that point on about 90% of the links I click on redirect me to random junk websites and ads. Any help would be greatly appreciated since this is driving me insane! I don't know if this makes a difference but I first noticed the links being redirected while searching in Google. but now it has continued into all websites. Ive included my trend micro hijackThis scan.
