Firewall question

Is it ok to install another firewall since my Windows XP has one of its own?

Can both run together?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Not only is it ok, but preferable in my opinion. The Windows firewall is absolute crap. Turn it off and use one of the free Firewall programmes below.

Zonealarm Kerio or Comodo free firewall programmes.
