FORGOT my windows login password for gateway HELP!!!!!

my manual says i have to bring my notebook to gateway so they can reset it
does anyone know a way around this?

Try going into the Safe Mode. Press F8 before you see the Windows screen. Once you are in the Safe Mode, go into the Administrator user. From there, you should be able to remove the password
