Getting funky graphics in MOHAA Breakthrough...

I just bought this game used yesterday, (I do have the full version of MOHAA) and am experiencing some unsightly graphics (see attachment). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Latest game patch installed? Latest graphics card driver installed?

Yes, all the above. I even tried pixomatic mode. It's kinda frustrating, I just un and re-installed to see if that might help.
