I've tried the various suggestions to get rid of the hijacked google search results, but no success. I've attached the recommended files in the 8 step removal instructions.
Since I didn't see a response to my post, I looked around at some of the other posts. One post mentioned downloading and running Hitman Pro. I downloaded and ran it and it detected a rootkit problem with iastor.sys. I let it clean it and now google search results work fine! I've included the post below for reference.
