Hey, this is probably a really odd thing that you guys have never heard of before... because i've checked all over and searched everywhere for why this could be happening.
I use 2x AA and 2x AF for most of the games I play, and it was working perfectly fine... turning off when i wanted it to be off and back to 2x AA and 2x AF when i wanted it to be on.
I recently got Battlefield 2 and in the ATI Control Panel as some of you may know... you can set up profiles so it would be easier for you to switch between having 2x AA and 2x AF on or off.
So i set this up, one profile for Battlefield 2 which doesn't run well with AA and AF enabled and another profile for most of the other games with AA and AF enabled at 2x.
It seemed to be working in the beginning, but then I found out the profiles weren't actually switching AA and AF off when i changed them.. so i changed it manually by going into the custom settings(which I used to do without the profiles) which always worked.
And now I cannot turn on AA and AF at all. It always stays off. This is just really annoying because the games look much better with AA and AF on, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this wierd problem heh.
I also uninstalled the 5.6 Catalyst drivers I had installed thinking a new driver might reset it and I would be able to turn AA and AF on again. But that didn't seem to make a difference.
If anyone could help me that would be great
Thanks.
